TwestofTO is coming to Hamilton!
WHEN
After two successful events in Burlington and great time in Mississauga we've decided to bring our party to Hamilton on April 8, 2010.
WHERE
Join us upstairs at The Pheasant Plucker on Augusta Avenue in downtown Hamilton.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A TWESTOFTO EVENT?
You get to meet the coolest people, that's what! Its a great opportunity to meet your Twitter, Facebook, Blip and online friends in real life for an evening of networking, socializing, jaw-flapping, and elbow-bending at one of the finest pubs in the heart of downtown Hamilton.
This time we have a plan to make our events even more valuable, fun and interactive. We’re throwing a loose structure around what already happens organically at our events: “lively, informed discussion around social media and digital culture”.
Drinks and munchies (and a few surprises) as usual, but we’ll divide everyone up into 4 – 5 smaller groups. Each group will sit down at a table with a discussion leader and a topic. After 15-20 minutes of discussion the group moves on to a different table and a different discussion topic. We expect the whole discussion part to last about an hour, and then its back to the traditional fun and frivolity.
WHAT'S IT COST?
This event is free to all and all are welcome - whether you're just looking to meet some people and have a fun night out or you're a local business owner who wants to connect with others in the area or a seasoned social media enthusiast - you'll find something for you at a TwestofTO event.
